Owning- Oahu- Speedway

To choose the ideal line in Oahu track is challenging, mostly because in hardcore mode with aids off, its quite slippery, probably due to so many cars racing for so many years leaving rubber and oil from old battles, lol.- I talked about the racing line, so if You're unsure where the racing line is, Always try the latest apex possible , that means You have to open the angle of attack more at the vortex of the curve-- in the picture , I'm showing You guys the mighty Ferrari 360 Stradale, thing to say no cars were harmed making these pictures lol-- Many racers in Oahu choose to go very open to the right side of the picture, going very late at the apex, is bad because You leave the door open to any driver in the inside, and also the centrifugal force in HC mode is so strong, that the cars loose grip and You ended up with no room to brake, in the picture it shows the ideal braking point , the later You brake the better, How ever this curve is a Fast curve Usually take it at fifth gear(depending of the machine too) , with a very little Trail Brake.
Trail braking is a way to describe continuous pressure at the brake pedal WHILE taking the curve. That's why  these techniques are useless using a Pad or a Keyword.
If We take with a good speed the first curve then the Exit its gonna be good, that is taking again a late apex, because is a long radius  curve, again If we go to close to the edge, the track is very dirty, we gonna be off, in the first picture, its ok to take a early apex because is fast. Be careful about the kerbs they are very unpredictable can unstable the cars very easy. The tilt of the track is very important too, try to be in its grippy part.Once You get the exit of the corner Gas pedal has to be Down --flat out--
Tons of People have problems decoding this curve the infamous tire curve, don't go to open, this curve has two apexes, and requires trail braking to make the nose of the car going where You want to go. Once You apply the brakes the tires have to look for the apex. Do not release the brake too abruptly or the car will loose balance and will give You Understeering. If you apply the gas too widly the car will fish tail and probaly You gonna spin.
the picture above shows another example of a late apex, always try to elongate the maximum of corners, Tdu is a masterpiece You can actually hear when the tires are reaching the limit of adhesion .
Cars in the game like the Ferrari 360 CS allows to attack the kerbs with confidence due to  its hard suspension , above there is the L shape curve, many guys wants to grab this one very open, some get away with it, but most of the time the g forces kick your car off, so is we have to stay more inside , in the moment we see the apex , turn in and trail brake, is good to get off in second or third gear to avoid any wheel spin at the exit. The Momentum in this corner is crucial to avoid any overtake in this spot or at least deceive the opponent, the first flat out the corner the faster gonna get to the next one.
The next corner is medium Speed , don't loose of sight the apex of this one, carrying the speed is important  to get the next fast chicane as fastest possible.

This is the fast chicane close to the airport, it requires a late apex, watch out the kerb, if You take the early apex You 'll end fighting the wheel and in the worst scenario in the grass, it requires deep braking, trail braking , neutral gas, but most all keep the nose of the car at control all the time to get a nice exit right next to the airport.
A late apex will avoid to touch the chicken wire protecting the airport at the exit flat out. Gear Ratios? it depends , this chicane is good taking it at 3rd gear.
The long straight besides the airport has a veryyyy long apex, don't go too inside of the radius too because the kerbs are unforgiven creatures, don't go too open because is just too slippery, just try to be in the right path till You see the distant apex.
Test Drive Unlimited is marvelous , thanks in part to the brilliant mind behind the Physics engine that unfortunally is not with eden anymore, Tdu2 is a proof of that lol, Thanks mr Designer for that fantastic game. ps , I will upload more photos with the rest othe curves later on. Cheers.
